My heart is to help you

Recognize the story God is writing through you

Hello! I’m Kelli Kissack.

And you are…?

Truly — I want to know who you are.

Because conversations are kind of my thing.

As an interviewer, writer, podcaster, publisher, and equine agent, I thrive on making connections with likeminded folks in the Western, agricultural, and rural communities.

You know — the kind of folks who love adventure, animals, family. The kind who wake up to watch the sunrise (and get chores done). The kind who crave community, even if they live in the country.

Sound like you?

Please, pull up a chair. Pour yourself some kombucha. And let’s chat!

We might get along if…

I’m a little quirky (you, too?)

If you’re looking for my resumé…

Then you’re either considering working with me (yay!) or just creepin’ (hmm).

Either way, here’s the rundown:

In 2014, I graduated magna cum laude with double bachelor's degrees in Entrepreneurial Studies and Media Studies from the University of Sioux Falls.

I met my sweet cowboy, Dane, in 2014. He basically swept me off my feet, and we got married on May 24, 2015. We traveled the country together for the next five years while pursuing his professional rodeo cowboy career, and I continued freelance writing.

Dane officially retired from full-time professional rodeo in March of 2020. Then we moved to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota in April of 2020 and built our custom "tiny mansion," 860 square feet of cabin paradise.

I became a Certified Legacy/StoryWay Guide in 2019. In 2020, I became the official interviewer of the Pink & Ruby Buckle organization and completed additional broadcasting work with the Cowboy Channel and the Black Hills Round-up, PRCA medium outdoor rodeo of the year. To date, I've hosted hundreds of interviews. I accepted the role of Lead Writer at Throne Publishing in 2021.

Today, I offer my own Equine Agent program as well as other writing, interviewing, and publishing services. I also run an educational blog and inspirational podcast for Western folks. In everything I do, I seek to share the beautiful story God is creating in each of us.
